Do I have to pay sales tax?
Events taking place within Texas or the Chicago city limits will have taxes added to the order.

How are my tickets shipped?
They are shipped by FedEX. The two methods are FedEx Priority Overnight ($25.00) delivery by 10:30AM, or FedEx Standard Overnight ($20.00) delivery by 3:30PM. Due to the value of each package, a signature is required for delivery.

I bought tickets from you but can't attend the event. What is your refund/return policy?
ALL SALES ARE FINALS. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations on any order once it is submitted to us. This policy is in place because when you purchase your tickets we secure and acquire those tickets for you and are not able to recover our costs. Please order tickets only after you are certain you want them.

What if my event is cancelled?
If an event is cancelled for any reason other than an act of God (rained out, earthquake, flood, etc), strike or lockout we will provide a full refund for the amount that you paid for the tickets. Handling, processing or shipping fees are NOT refundable.

Houston Livestock and Rodeo Policies:
Rodeo tickets purchased through ticketconnection.com are purchased for the rodeo event date. Artist, performers & riders are subject to change. Refunds are offered only if the entire rodeo for that date is cancelled. Ticket Connection is not responsible for changes in the rodeo line-up and will not give refunds if changes occur.

What if my event is postponed?
If any even is postponed, the tickets will be honored for the new date of the show. New tickets will not need to be issued. If you cannot make the new date, we will accept the tickets back from you on a consignment basis only. You would receive 100% of the amount that we sell them for up to the price that you paid. We do not guarantee that they will be resold.

What if my tickets are lost or stolen?
When you receive your tickets, keep them in a safe place. Tickets cannot be replaced if they are lost, stolen or damaged. Please note that direct sunlight or heat can damage some tickets.

Why a service charge?
Our service charge helps us recover some of the expenses incurred with processing payments, securing and shipping tickets, as well as guaranteeing that every ticket on our site is authentic. The service charge is 10% with a $10 minimum per ticket.

Can I sell my tickets on consignment with you?
Tickets can only be returned on a consignment basis where you would get 100% of the amount that we resell them for, up to the amount that you paid for them.

All transactions conducted on our Web site through a secure browser are protected by SSL software, the industry standard and the best software available today for secure online commerce business. All transactions are processed on our secure server with full 128-bit encryption. This means that all of your personal information, including your credit card number, name, and address, cannot be read as the data travels over the Internet. We invite you to shop with confidence of knowing that your personal information is protected at all times.

What is a ticket broker?
A broker is defined as "One hired for a fee to negotiate purchases, contracts, or sales." A ticket broker does just that. There are people who want to sell their tickets and there are also people who want to buy those same tickets. There are two ways that a broker can do this. The broker can buy the tickets outright from the seller and hope that they can sell them. If the market drops or the tickets don't get sold the broker incurs the loss. The second way is the broker could take the tickets from the seller on consignment and keep a fee if they are sold. Either way a ticket broker puts the buyers and the sellers together for a fee.

Why are the tickets on your site listed above face value?
Licensed ticket brokers generally sell their tickets at prices above face value. This price is known as the ticket's "market value." The only place you can purchase tickets at face value is through Ticketmaster or a venue box office. However, it is important to note that these primary sellers often charge additional service fees—creating actual prices that are higher than the amount listed on the face of the ticket.

Licensed ticket brokers specialize in obtaining desirable seats for high-demand and sold-out events. They get these tickets from a variety of sources including season ticket holders and individuals who have extra tickets for events. To obtain these high-demand tickets, brokers pay a premium, or a price often well above face value. They then sell these tickets at market value. The market value price for a ticket is determined by many factors including seat location, supply and demand, date and location of event, etc.

In order to provide outstanding service and selection to consumers we charge a 10% service fee on all orders.

Is it illegal to sell tickets for more than face value?
No. It does generally require a license and set of standards to follow. All transactions that we handle meet all state and local provisions.
